Course Overview

The ARSO Conformity Assessment Programme (ACAP) aims to harmonize and standardize conformity assessment practices across African countries. This training program focuses on equipping participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively implement and participate in the ARSO ACAP.

• Regulators and Government Officials, Industry Professionals, Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs), Consultants and Trainers, Academics and Researchers

Training Objectives:

Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:

• Understand the objectives and principles of the ARSO CA Programme.
• Identify the key components of the ARSO CA Programme, including standards, procedures, and accreditation requirements.
• Interpret and apply relevant ARSO standards and guidelines for conformity assessment.
• Understand the role of different stakeholders in the ARSO CA Programme.
• Conduct conformity assessment activities in accordance with ARSO requirements.
• Prepare for and participate in ARSO peer assessments and evaluations.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of national conformity assessment systems aligned with ARSO requirements.
• Promote the benefits of the ARSO CA Programme to stakeholders.
